Sneaking Up On You In February... Arslan: The Warriors Of Legend

Yes, the xb1 gets a Japanese release which makes me Happy. AZ, You might like Dragon Quest heroes which hasn't been released on xb1 unfortunately. None the less, I'm glad to see Arslan on he Xb1, good news.

 

I never liked the Dynasty Warrior games, yet Dragon Quest Heroes was great fun!

At first I was put off by the art style of "Dragon Quest" but after watching some gameplay footage I think it would probably be good fun.

PS 4 is also getting "Senran Kagura Estival Versus" and add that to "Akiba's Trip" and "Onechanbara Z2: Chaos Banana Split" and Sony finally has some exclusives to brag about.

At least we've got "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Storm 4" which is another visually stunning title along with "Arslan".

Then there's the indie "Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae" which is like an arena version of a game that lies somewhere between "Onechanbara" and "Ninja Gaiden".

Who knows, if enough people grab it perhaps they will understand there is a Western Market for more Japanese titles.

 

Yeah I forgot about Naruto which looks pretty good. I have Akibas Trip which is actually fun though looks a bit dated since the same game is on ps3. I'm not sure if any of the DQ games have been on MS consoles before to be fare. I am a member of one of the
larger trophy sites and the western audience lap up these games. It's good for the xb1 to be seeing some of these trickle through. Frankly I almost exploded when MgsvTPP was cross platformed, though I am mgs bias.

 

I'm really disappointed by the lack of Japanese games.

I would have loved to play "The Idolmaster 2" on the 360 but it was region locked to Japan.

Nobody expects the XBox ONE to be embraced by Japan but would have thought that there would be some Japanese games we could import that offered such a conventionally different experience (like Idolmaster did).

Instead when you look at what's available it seems like Microsoft's Japanese offerings are simply looking glasses into a Western World through it's offering of Western Games in Hiragana and Katakana with Japanese Language dubs.
