Snapping apps

Anyone here actually like snapping??

this feature on the xbox one just drives me *** nuts. u accidentally double tap the xbox button and u get snapped, so u do it again and u just switch so u try once, ohhh ur home its fixed, nope you open another and theres the snap, so u gotta keep *** clicking
until you know your on the snap and then close it. ive had the xbox since release and this *** still drives me nuts.

i really think microsoft should work on this, as well as the ui. The xbox one seems like a windows phone/pc and it doesnt have its own identity. among all the others i know snapping would be the easiest to fix as its a simple feature. What i think microsoft
should do is just at least bring it back to the old 360 style. have a box in the middle of the screen like how it was, or something better. you people at microsoft get occasional good ideas and xbox has always been one of the best. so i dont know if im just
ranting lol but is there anyone else who agrees or doesnt like the ui.

Snapping apps

I'm a member of Xbox one preview program and can no longer snap app such as tv. When using Cortana she will ask witch one and I tell her and she opens the whole thing instead of snapping. Also don't even see the option to snap in general please help.

 

Snapping apps?

After the Spring 2017 Update, how do you snap your apps to the side of the screen? I can't seem to find it.

Honestly, this update is kinda annoying to me, I was ok with the way it was. This new stuff is confusing to me. Also, I haven't seen yet something to prevent random people to add me as friends against my will or the ability to send a group. message without
having to create a conversation. This is a step backwards in the Xbox One to me.

 

I do like the snap feature, but I use voice commands with kinect. I have tried using the controller method but I agree it doesn't seem to respond well. On the other hand I applause MS for trying to give the Kinectless users the ability, even if it does still
need some work. I suggest you post on the feedback site. ( or get a Kinect, but if you really wanted one you'd have it already). At least they are constantly updating the system so hopefully your problem will be addressed eventually. I remember the dashboard
for the 360 changing 3 times before it finally became what it is now.

 

It just drives me nuts, and do you know how annoying it gets when your talking to people and having to shout at the kinect to unsnap, and i honestly dont know ho you like it, the reduction of the screen irritates me the most, id rather see none than what
the snap is.

I sold it and I'm saving for a ps4. Good riddance xbox, hate to say it but when a console is as big a disappointment as this its a relief to sell it. I always hated playstation but ps4 is way better.
