Snapping app after update

After the new interface I am unable to snap an app, nor do I have the option, one the xbox one s console. I do not have a Kinect, did not have one before. Can someone please inform me as what I need to do to be able to play music, videos, etc... and games
at the same time.

snapping apps

I can't seem to find where the capability to snap one app to another went, an example of snapping an app would be snapping twitch to listen to a stream while I'm playing a game such as destiny 2. So where the hell did it go was it gotten rid of in an update
or something like that or what??

Snapping an app

So with the latest Xbox update, they have now gotten rid of the snap an app feature. I liked this feature for one main reason. I don't use Pandora as my music station. I use Slacker Radio. And the only way I could play my music was through the Microsoft
Edge app. I would snap it with whatever else I was doing and it was great. Now I can not listen to the music that I want. Please bring this feature back. Or at least get slacker radio as an app for Xbox.

Xbox Feedback site for it. Be sure to head over there and vote for the suggestion!

You can still listen to your music in the background via the Groove music and Pandora apps so be sure to check those out.

I have NFL app snapped, watching games. None of the scores/times update on the snap/app. Still showing Q1 15:00 in all games, when most are well into the game. This a bug? How to fix??

YouTube video playback in snap mode on Xbox ONE needs to be fixed. When the feature was first added, it was really choppy,, and out of sync. The update after that (current) seemed to improve that a little. It's still choppy (though slightly less), and the
A/V sync is pretty much okay, considering the stil choppy video.

Other video apps seem to play just fine snapped, be it live TV, streaming apps, and even throwing HD video from my tablet to the xbox video app (via DLNA). So yeah, only the YouTube app seems to play videos choppy while snapped.

I hope this gets fixed ASAP.

Yeah, Skype doesn't support being snapped to the right side of the screen just yet - FAQ on the app information page says it's being worked on for release in a future update. For those apps that do fully support the Snap feature - if you wanted to switch
between the two, all you'd have to do is either say "Xbox, switch" or double tap the Xbox button on your controller.

If you want to know what applications can be snapped, go to "My Games & Apps", select the Snap app, and it should display any items that you're able to snap.
