Discus and support Snap Volume Control Enhancement Request in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; User Story: Watching TV (football game, etc) and a commercial break or halftime comes on.     Snap Volume Control Enhancement Request


    User Story: Watching TV (football game, etc) and a commercial break or halftime comes on. Would like to put TV in Snap (possible already) and play Xbox music (or other app.) This allows the commercial or break to be monitored in Snap while enjoying other
    content. Currently, TV (in Snap) cannot be muted and degrades the experience (due to TV volume.)

    Would like an option to mute Snapped app. Please let me know if there is a better / more effective forum for this enhancement request.

    How to mute Live TV while watching Xbox Video in Snap Mode

    This is what the sound mixer is for. Although it would be nice to control the volume, say via a slider or something in the snap window for quick volume control.

    My Uverse remote will not control my Denon AVR-2112ci volume

    Unfortunately there is nothing blocking it. My Uverse remote will control the XBox volume but not receiver. The following is a link to a similar situation: www.avsforum.com/.../xbox-one-snap-tv-game-volume-control-issues

    Smart Glass and all of my other remotes control the receiver volume without issue. The only thing I can think of is a bad remote code but I cannot find the code for my receiver to manually input to Xbox.

    At a lost and frustrated not being able to use my Uverse remote for volume.

    Volume controls are normally based on your tv they do have setting to fade volume for snapped apps though

    MrGanja79, at the moment there is not a way to isolate and control the volume between the snap and main screen option. The request has already been sent. I/we are aware that people want this option, and we are looking into it. Thanks for your input. Game
