Snap Ideas

Well everybody, the July update just released to the public!

This update was especially exciting for me because of the improvements to the snap feature. Allowing me to bring up the snap menu without having to go out of the game I am playing feels a bit more "familiar" to me than going back to a home screen and finding
the app I need. While this is an improvement. It seems underutilized. There could be more to the snap function.

Which is why we as a community should brainstorm on what would be important improvements for snap. The things I've come up with so far are.

Sort Preferences: options like "Most used apps", "Recently used" and maybe "favorites"

Auto Snap: The choice to have a predetermined app to launch when snap is lauched.

"Snap Central": just an idea I had. Basically an app that launches snapped, and displays all prevalent social information. It could show your friends or favorites online, Unread Messages count, show Party size, pending invites or alerts, and maybe
even recent players.

i wouldnt mind having it have an option to be a smaller window in the top right of my screen and i can tab it to full screen like alt tab on the pc with the back button so i can flick between 2 fullscreens sorta thing rather than have to middle button and
press b a lot or finding the app along the bottom, i am sure the xbox can do it if it can have it at the side of my screen aswell as it is that bar dominates nearly half of my monitor lol :/

 

Does the July update that you mention include for the new achievement snap function that I've been reading about or does anybody know when this will be ready?

 

Yeah i've got achievement snap so i think its in that update dunno if its only preview at the mo tho??

 

The update that just went live, does include the feature to snap the current game's(being played) achievements.

it would be good if you can make the snap feature smaller so there is only a small box on the right side.

i am sorry for my bad english but i hope you understand what i mean.
