    Smurf accounts are ruining the experience


    For the love of god do something about the hacker/smurf account dbags in Halo 5. I'm not sure what the limit of accounts for one person is, but clearly something needs to be done because it's ruining the game. It's hard to imagine you guys don't know about
    this so lets do something about it. Thanks.

    Should "Smurfs" be banned

    Honestly today's standards of gaming is not what gaming truly means. What gaming means is to have fun and honestly ease of stress but now everyone finds it funny to mess with people. Their multiple ways of messing with people including "Trolling and Smurfing".
    Trolling has always been a thing but Smurfing is somewhat new. Basically someone creates a new account goes into a game and try's their hardest to mess with people. Smurfs are honestly the most annoying thing because majority of the time the game matches you
    with people your level and so if a person creates a new account they get to play with people who bought the game or are also smurfs. This ruins lower levels experience of playing a game that they spent their earned money on and just decided not to play it.
    The thing that is worse about this is that YouTuber's are promoting this. Xbox is my favorite console and I hope the higher ups can do something about this because ruining a persons experience because you find it fun is messed up. Now personally each time I
    see a low level player in a game I always check their gamerscore to see if it is a smurf and majority of the time it is.

    If someone is making offensive remarks to you, do not reply back to them. Report and block them.

    - If you're in a party chat and offensive remarks are being made. Your account may receive a suspension just for being in that party if the party is reported.

    Microsoft need to stop smurf accounts

    A question I have based on the punishment idea is would stuff like comm. bans be apart of it too or would it need to be an account ban? I'm all for punishing troll smurf accounts as I've had some experiences with them, but punishing skilled player smurf
    accounts too would seem a bit extreme in my eyes.

    Plus, as someone who use to play Rainbow Six Siege, punishing skilled smurfs would seem extremely unfair to them as on their base account, matchmaking would become a nightmare because Ubisoft's Skill Based Match Making (I don't know how good/bad it is now,
    but it use to be a nightmare the higher you went up in tiers in Ranked).
