    SmartRG (Modems/Gateways): Overview
    SmartRG SR350N

    Login Information:

    Default Gateway – 192.168.1.1/admin

    Username – admin

    Password – admin



    How to Find SSID (Network Name)

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Wireless.
    5. Select Basic.
    6. The Wireless Network Name (SSID) will be found in the SSID field.


    How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Wireless.
    5. Select Security.
    6. Click the “Click here to display” next to WPA/WPA2 Passphrase.

    Locate the sticker on the bottom of the device.

    The passphrase for your wireless network is listed to the right of Network Key(Password).



    Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Wireless.
    5. Select Security.
    6. Select None or Disabled from the Network Authentication drop down menu.
    7. Click Apply/Save.


    MAC Filtering

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select Security.
    6. Select MAC Filtering.
    7. Select your network from the Select SSID drop down.
    8. Set to Off/Disabled.
    9. Click Apply/Save.


    Change Wireless Mode

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Wireless.
    5. Select Advanced.
    6. Select Only 54G from the 54g Mode drop down.
    7. Click Apply/Save.




    Change Wireless Channel

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Wireless.
    5. Select Advanced.
    6. Select the desired channel from the Channel drop down. (Channels 1,3,9,11)
    7. Click the Apply/Save button.


    DHCP Reservation

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select LAN.
    6. Click the Add Entries button in the Static IP Lease List area. (Documentation stops here)
    7. Enter the IP Address of your console and the desired IP Address.
    8. Click the Apply/Save button.


    UPnP

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select UPnP.
    6. Toggle UPnP on or off depending on your need.
    7. Click the Apply/Save button.


    DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select NAT.
    6. Select DMZ Host.
    7. Enter the IP Address of your Xbox console in the DMZ Host IP Address field.
    8. Click the Apply/Save button.


    Disable DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select NAT.
    6. Select DMZ Host.
    7. Clear the IP Address from the DMZ Host IP Address field.
    8. Click the Apply/Save button.


    Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select NAT.
    6. Select Virtual Servers.
    7. Click the Add button.
    8. Enter the Server Name.
    9. Set External Port Start and End to 3074.
    10. Set the Protocol to both if it is available, if not create an additional rule so you have one for TCP and one for UDP.
    11. Set Internal Port Start and End to 3074.
    12. Enter the IP Address of your Xbox console for Server IP Address.
    13. Click the Apply/Save button.
    14. Click the Add button.
    15. Enter the Server Name.
    16. Set External Port Start and End to 3544.
    17. Set the Protocol to UDP.
    18. Set Internal Port Start and End to 3544.
    19. Enter the IP Address of your Xbox console for Server IP Address.
    20. Click the Apply/Save button.




    Disable Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select NAT.
    6. Select Virtual Servers.
    7. Check the Remove box next to any of the rules you created.
    8. Click the Apply/Save button.


    Firewall

    *The firewall does not have any adjustable options.*



    Restoring Factory Defaults

    Through Firmware

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Management.
    5. Select Settings.
    6. Select Restore Defaults.
    7. Click the Restore Default Settings button.


    Through Hardware

    1. Locate the reset button on the back of the device.
    2. Press and hold the reset button for aprox. 5 seconds.
    3. Release the button and wait for the device to restart.


    How to Find Firmware Version

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Device Info.
    5. Your firmware version can be found next to Software Version.




    Firmware Update

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Locate and download the firmware update, either from your ISP or SmartRG.
    3. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    4. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    5. Select Management.
    6. Select Update Software.
    7. Click the Browse button.
    8. Select the firmware file you downloaded earlier, click Ok.
    9. Click the Update Software button.


    Bridging Guide

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1/admin in the address bar and press enter.
    3. Enter “admin” for the username and “admin” for the password when prompted.
    4. Select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select WAN Service.
    6. Select your primary WAN interface from the drop down.
    7. Click the Next button.
    8. Select Bridging.
    9. Click the Apply/Save button.




    Multiple Console Support

    We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.
