    Smartglass won't connect to Xbox One


    I have a Windows RT 8.1 tablet that refuses to connect to my xbox one. I have discovered that i primarily have the problem if I have other devices (iphone and android phone) also using Smartglass. They do not have to be actively using it, but i noticed that
    if either of the phones were connected to it at some point without rebooting the xbox the tablet will have the problem.

    This was also the same issue on my xbox 360, however the 360 would eventually start to recognize my tablet. I am hoping for a solution to this problem as my Windows RT tablet is basically useless as it updates every freaking day and there are no useful free
    apps in the store.

    Smartglass for 360 officially unsupported?

    I think its wrong that the Xbox 360 smartglass won't run I used that programme before the Xbox one came out and now I unable to sign or login the the app. It seems strange that the smartglass app for 360 is still downloadable and get I can to login in or
    connect to the 360.....

    I also encountered similar issue on Android Xbox One Smartglass 2.0.2 and it worked only when it had a good mood. For now I tried to powercycle +- 10 times and it still won't connect XS

    Smart Glass So Far.

    Are you sure you have the Xbox One version of Smartglass? The old Smartglass app for 360 won't work.

    Correct, at this time the Xbox One SmartGlass application must be connected to the same home network that your Xbox One console is connected to in order to discover and connect to your Xbox One console.

    @EvoFool, can you double check that you have installed and are running the Xbox One SmartGlass app? This is a new application specifically for connecting to the Xbox One as distinct from the previous Xbox SmartGlass application which is used to connect
    to the Xbox 360 console. Thank you.
