Smartglass not working in Dead Rising 3

So i've gotten the companion app to work in the past. Tried using it yesterday and it wouldn't work no matter what i tried. I checked network/wifi settings, i opened the game from the smartglass app, i cold-rebooted the xbone, etc.

What happens when i hit the companion button is it opens the loading screen for a second and then immedietly goes to a blue screen that says "This page is currently unavailable... Please try again later"

I'm assuming this is a microsoft issue as I've seen a couple recent posts in some other forums with the same issue with no solutions.

Xbox One SmartGlass DR3 companion not working

Try using your Smartglass device to start Dead Rising 3. This is the only way it will work for me.

The full map on Battlefield is useful and the extras in Dead Rising 3 are great!

And as far as I can tell it is just on DR3. I tried smart glass with other games and everything seems to be working fine on them. Hopefully they get it fixed soon though.

 

Is this still not working?? Just bought DR3 Apocalypse Edition and can't seem to get this working either =(

I can connect to my Xbox with an Android and a Surface RT, but for some reason the DR3 companion app fails to load everytime.
