SmartGlass if StupiP

I am so frustrated with Xbox One and this SmartGlass THING!!!! All I would like to do is sit down and play a few games of Monopoly or Battleship with my Grandkids. But no!! I can't get the boards set up the WAY I WANT
THEM! NO RULES THE WAY I WANT!

Who in the world needs to use their phone in order to gaming machine on. STUPID. ONE MORE WAY THAT MICROSOFT AND BIG BROTHER WANTS TO WATCH AND MONITOR EVERYONE IN THE WORLD. Isn't it enough that we all have spent
all of our money already with Microsoft and others. No One is allow to use the old fashioned board games because they are not fast enough or they don't blink.

Its just a game of Monopoly or Battleship. Everything that I have read there isn't but about 2-5 games that even works with this

stupid SmartGlass.

SO YOU ALL KEEP MAKING US ALL GET HOOKED ON THE PRESENT DAY TECHNOLOGY WHICH IS PUSHED DOWN OUR THROATS.

WHEN WE TRY TO JUST ENJOY AN AFTERNOON WITH FAMILY, WE CANT BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE IT SO DIFFICULT, THAT

EVERYONE LOOSES INTEREST. CONGRATULATIONS, GUYS, GOOD JOB!!

I've payed Monopoly on the Xbox One, but never on SmartGlass.....

It has a basic board, just like in real life. The game seemed to work the same for me as the original board game that I grew up playing. If it's that frustrating trying to play it through SmartGlass (?) then I would recommend either trying a different game
with them on the console itself, or maybe checking out some board games. They are still just as fun as video games. Good luck!

I commend you for attempting to broaden your grandchildrens gaming experience. Whilst I apreciate that Monopoly and battleships are two of the all time classic board games out there, maybe they just aren't cool enough for the children of today. Maybe try
taking your grandchildren to somewhere like games workshop and seeing if there is a table top/board game there that they would enjoy playing and you can share the experience with them.

Console and PC gaming has been around for a very long time, I started console gaming in the late 70s early 80s with Atari systems. They have become more an more popular over the past couple of decades but there has also been a strong table top gaming industry.
My youngest son, now in his early 20s enjoyed playing games like warhammer and other similar games. These may not be your all time classics like Monopoly but they do encourage children to game together in different ways and styles. There will be a game out
there that you can all enjoy and part of the fun is discovering that game.

I assure you that tabletop games are still popular and you don't require technology to play these. There are a number of shops selling a variety of these games, I'd recommend trying to go with your grandchildren and finding a game you can all enjoy together.
