    SmartGlass force closes or crashes...


    Starting in 2015 I was having issues with SmartGlass force closing (or minimizing) on my Windows 8.1 laptop. After some searching around I found that if you change your PC's date to a date in 2014 it will fix the issue. Not a complete fix but more of a
    patch until Microsoft decides that it is a problem and pushes out an update. I only wasted over an hour figuring this out from others on the net so i thought I would share and hopefully save someone else some time. Hope it helps!

    clear the smartglass cache for the mixer app, and force close the app. if all else fails, try deleting and reinstalling the app. hope this helps,

    Skyrim Crashing

    Every time I launch skyrim, it crashes and force closes the game. Its only started happening last night when the update came out. Any suggestions?

    Xbox One Smartglass on Android Lollipop 5.0.....now this

    I'm having the same problem. My 360 smartglass forces close just as the sign in screen is about to load the main screen. I tried redownloading and reinstalling the app. It still wont work. Please help I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s5 I just received lollipop

    So this is where everybody is

    I only use the One Smartglass app on my Ipad and haven't experienced those issues myself. And I have it running all the time, only ever force close if im shutting down all apps once in a blue moon.

    And im not sure what you mean really, as Smartglass functions work without the console being switched on exactly the same as when the console is on for most functions.

    smartglass wont connect to xbox one

    I renamed the xbox and it restarted, i closed the smartglass app and waited til the xbox turned back on.

    went back to smartglass and it connected.
