Smartglass for Xbox 360 cannot connect to console

On my home network, with Smartglass for Xbox 360, I am unable to connect to the console from any devices (wired and wireless devices, iOS, Android, Win 8.1, and Win10). "Couldn't play due to a network problem". Error codes 0xc101008e (0x800c0008).

I have tried the suggestions here:

Console software is up-to-date. Smartglass apps are up-to-date.

All network tests in Xbox 360 settings to Xbox live, Media Center, and other computers look good.

I currently do not have a wireless connection option to try for the Xbox 360.

Dance Central 3: SmartGlass not Working

I cannot get Dance Central 3 DJ SmartGlass experience to work. The Xbox 360 SmartGlass app (Windows 10) connects to my console, but every time I try to use the SmartGlass feature for Dance Central 3 specifically, there is an error: "There's a problem starting
this experience."

I'll add that the XBox 360 is being used as a Media Center Extender (and works well). Could the inability of Smartglass (XB360 version) to find the console be related to Media Center ?

I also have the same problem ,can not connect with same error code , but everything I have is wireless with a HP all in one desktop being the hub . Also having a problem with play on live in Minecraft unable to move head ? odd. maybe related to a Xbox Live
issue

I did change service providers which Did change the Xboxes ip address and I cant change it in the desktop app

I'm sorry to see any connection issues with Smartglass! We've been tracking a similar sign in issue on Smartglass, and I'm trying to find out if this might be related to that. If not, then I'm going to make sure the right people are looking into this.

I'm in the same boat with everyone else. Same error code as divotman. My windows 10 PC recognize Xbox 360, but Xbox 360 Smartglass will not connect to my Xbox 360.....

 

Thanks for throwing your name in the hat, Joe! I'm still digging into who needs to look at this, but I promise I will update with more information once I have it.
