Smartglass connection question

Hi. I was wondering. I recently picked up Fable Anniversary for the Xbox360 and want to use this new 'Smartglass" feature. I connect my Xbox360 to my modem with a Ethernet cable. If I also connect my modem at the same time to my wireless router
with another Ethernet cable, will this allow me to simultaneously connect my 7.5 Phone to the Internet while my Xbox360 is connected therefore allowing me to use this device, or will there be some sort of interference/conflict between the console and phone?

Some smartglass questions

1. Not sure, don't have a Kindle Tablet. You can easily download the app and see if it runs to find out.
2. Not sure, that's a question for your cable company and your Kindle. Doesn't seem related to Smartglass.
3. Yes, but you can only control and connect to consoles on the same network.
4. Not through Smartglass. Again, that's a question for your cable company and any app they may provide.
5. You can operate Youtube through the emulated controller on the Smartglass app.

 

Some smartglass questions

I will probably get a One before the year's end, and I have some smartglass questions.
First, are we sure the smartglass app works for Amazon's Kindle tablet? Second, if I still use my cable company's DVR, can I control that from my Kindle, like can I set up a show to record from my Kindle? Can I use the smartglass app from anywhere my tablet has an internet connection? Can I watch TV from my tablet? Does the SmartGlass operate the youtube app?

Try to do it first and if it does not work connect your xbox to your wireless router and then connect to it using your phone.

 

You can, but im not sure if Fable has any smartglass features. If you pick up an xbox one, be sure to use it with Deadrising 3. Adds a lot more bonus missions, cool stuff.

 

Hi. So it doesn't work. I connect to Xbox Live with my modem (Ethernet cable) and then once I activate my router I lose connection on the Xbox360.

It seems I have no choice but to connect my Xbox360 to the router but I can't do it. It won't pick up my router. it says it can't find an ISP address.
