Discus and support SmartGlass companion hangs.. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; SmartGlass companion hangs at "Loading Battlescreen" on Windows 8.1 x64.     SmartGlass companion hangs..


    SmartGlass companion hangs at "Loading Battlescreen" on Windows 8.1 x64.

    Though the app can connect to XO and start the game, when I'm on Conquest it just hangs at "Loading Battlescreen...".

    Did anyone else have this problem and knows how to fix it?

    XBOX companion app in windows 8

    Hello,

    Xbox Companion was changed to Smartglass.

    It's under System > Console Settings > Connected Devices > Xbox SmartGlass Apps > On.

    There should be an option to install a companion app within Smartglass. On the main screen after you've connected, you should see an icon labeled "Companion".

    it still only Xbox companion on Kindle Fire HD as you have to side load it and has not been updated to the new smartglass App though it says it is smartglass.
