Smartglass compainion boss mode addon not working

The problem seems to be related to Android devices. Surface and iPad works without a problem.

When you launch the companion, the scoreboard shows up, but the "enter boss mode" button is missing.

I have the similar problem. I have a Samsung note 10.1 2014 edition. when I get in Boss Mode I can collect brains and suns but when I try to use them like heal or resurrect they just get a box around them with a crosshairs. it does this to all option and
I can not sue them. Xbox One

You have to open the SmartGlass app, select Plants Vs Zombies Flower Warfare, and go into companion mode. After that in the bottom right hand of the screen there is a prompt for boss mode.

Strange. Mine works for offline split screen and online multiplayer. I have the surface if that helps.
