Smartglass can't find console Xbox 360

for the last 2 weeks Smartglass on my android and computer won't find my Xbox 360 anymore. I've double checked that the console is enabled and even gone as far as to make a completely new gamertag to see if that would work but still nothing. Could it be
an actual hardware issue in the console? Why aren't there more troubleshooting steps other than turn it off and on again?

Xbox 360 smartglass can't find console

I'm having this issue too. Xbox 360 is connected to the router with ethernet cable, devices are over wi-fi, 5ghz. Nothing will connect, Windows 10 app, iPad 2 app. Application won't run on my iPhone anymore with iOS 11.

I posted a pic of the exact error that comes up that's all that happens it doesn't give me any choices to change any setting in the actual phone app. The phone I have is a zte Zmax pro running the latest android the Xbox is a 360

 

yes I did also try every step in that page as well and still no luck

so is anyone going to fix it? It's been weeks and still not working. As a last ditch effort I even bought a new modem/router to see if that would help them connect on the network

I am having the same exact problem. Of course I have Smart Glass turned ON in the Xbox 360 console settings, I can see that I am logged into the same account through both smartglass and my 360 console, I am on a 4G network using smartglass on an Android
5.1.1 LGL43AL phone, and I have tried it numerous times with the 360 console plugged into my network with a LAN cable and without the LAN, using wireless mode. I get the same error screen posted by the original poster and tapping "TRY AGAIN" just keeps bringing
the same error message up again. Is anyone still working on this issue?

Nothing helps and nothing works.

Xbox is wired to modem, phone (galaxy S6 edge) was on both 2,4 and 5 gHz Wi-Fi.
