    Smartglass app


    I'm trying to find out why all of a sudden, my pins disappeared on my smartglass app. Used it this morning to watch a DVD, then this afternoon, went to watch another movie, and all pins were gone, except two, Pinball fx2, and Pinball arcade. Then I refreshed
    the app, and my One guide reappeared, but then a few minutes later, it disappeared. Called support, and went through all the troubleshooting, uninstalled, rebooted console, etc, and no fix. Support seems to think it's a temporary issue. Anyone else having
    issues like this? Only other thing that I did on the console today was update to use the Cortana app. Also weird that while using the app, the ability to scroll right on the home page actually stopped while I was talking to them! HELP.

    Xbox One Account & Console hacked into!!!!!!

    Make sure you have the smartglass app set properly . As they could have connected to you xbox1 thru the smartglass app.

    Receiving messages in SmartGlass with Xbox privacy settings set to friends only. How do I block messages in SmartGlass?

    This was the fix. I uninstalled the smartglass app and installed the xbox app and no longer receive messages from non-friends. the smartglass app must be outdated.

    Hey there RedDeathSquad!

    Sorry to hear about the crashing issue. What version of the SmartGlass app is downloaded to your iPod? You can check the version from your SmartGlass app by going to Settings and then scrolling to the bottom of the screen. The version number will be right
    above the What's new section. Let's see what we can do to help get this issue sorted.

    Please give the following steps a try:

    • Try deleting and reinstalling the SmartGlass app again by pressing on the SmartGlass app and pressing the X in the left hand corner.
    • Select Delete and then from the App Store, search for SmartGlass.
    • Select Xbox One SmartGlass and press the Cloud icon in the right corner to download the app.
    • Once the SmartGlass app is downloaded, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for 10 seconds.
    • As soon as your iPod powers on, try loading the SmartGlass app.

    Give the suggested steps a try and let us know if you are still continuing to experience the SmartGlass app crashing.
