smartglass app on xbox one

I don't have the smartglass menu in preferences on my xbox one. Latest updates have been installed. Is there any way of installing it ?

Hey there, SmartGlass is now called Xbox App. You can find the settings in Settings > All Settings > Preferences. "Xbox app connections"

Thanks Mister Mascot for your reply. I am still having problems getting my Windows 10 tablet to see my xbox one When I type in the console IP address into Smartglass app on tablet it reports error code 0x8000001E . I have looked up the code on the forum
which suggest a number of things to try. I am a bit of a newbie on the one having just updated from the 360 so your help is appreciated. I will post my findings if I solve the problem.

There is a completely different xbox smartglass app you need to download. The original SG app is for the 360 and the new one is called xbox one smartglass.

Basically its an extension to the console, can serve as a controller (at least it does on the 360).
