Smartglass and TV Tuner == crash

Hi,

i have problem with the TV Tuner Combined with the smartglass.

Everytime the Smartglass App crashed, if the tv tuner is connected. So i cant use the streaming function and cant general use the smartglass app.

I have an Sony Xperia Z1 Compact with Android 4.4.4 and the last XBox One Update.

Pls help me or fix it

How do you watch TV on Smartglass?

You don't, currently only available over seas with the tv tuner plug in. The devs said they are working on the hdcp software layer to secure the signal from the hdm in port to smartglass to eventually let you stream your Cable box through SmartGlass.

It only works with the OTA TV tuner dongle right now. I pressed the devs in the preview program if this feature would ever work with HDMI-IN and they said yes they are still working on the HDCP layer on the software side to make sure the streaming signal to Smartglass in encrypted.

This is a killer feature is it gives you a sling box or a wireless cable box.

I still want the feature to stream my tv to XBOX smartglass app like with e tuner.... Kinda not fair lol, Europe gets the best feature of the Xbox one.....

same problem, but only with android, because i used ipad mini and it works without problems. i tried to connect a lot of different phone (android) and always the same..doesn't work.

i'm tv tuner xbox one owner and i suppose is this the problem, the tv tuner.

i'm very disappointed because i like very much smartglass....please solve the problem asap.

and also give to android device the tv program streaming like apple o windows phone.

Enen, that's not a rumour, the Xbox One digital TV tuner is coming out in October and will cost 25 quid. It basically allows you to watch Freeview on the console, pause Live TV, use voice commands to change channels, works with DVB, DVB-2 and a 3rd one which
is DVB-C..? Anyways, you get your aerial lead and plug it into the tuner and then plug the USB bit into the Xbox One's many USB ports to be able to use the OneGuide. Should be able to use the Smartglass as an Xbox One media remote too.

The TV tuner is an alternative to a set top box which won't require you to use the HDMI in port.

This may be irrelevant, but I have a question about the TV tuner. I understand that you plug the tuner into the XB1 through USB, not HDMI. I have an Xbox 360 hooked up to my XB1 through the HDMI-in port. In order to play 360 games, I have to use the TV app,
and the TV tuner uses the TV app as well in order to work. I also understand that when you plug in the TV tuner, the OneGuide separates the TV tuner channels from the "HDMI content". My question is this: if I have a TV tuner with a coax cable connected through
the XB1's USB port AND an Xbox 360 connected through the XB1'S HDMI-in port (both at the same time), can I switch between my Xbox 360 and my TV tuner when using the TV app? Thanks for the help!
