Smart pistol fix incoming

Don't wanna sound rude but i've gotta state the obvious... You are in a server relevent to where you live? If not hit the X button at the title menu and pick the one with the LOWEST number.

How's your broadband in general... reset your router/modem/gateway recently?

Have you applied a hard reset on the X1? hold down the power button for about 10-15 seconds, you should see the power brick light go from white to orange after about a further 30 seconds, this will reset all ram and smooth things up too!

Failing all this you are waiting for a full 3 hit lock with the smart pistol? If all has been done and you are still experiencing issues, i'd certainly suggest contacting @titanfallgame on twitter, they normally respond to problems really quickly.

 

Nah not rude at all, appreciate your help though. I'm in Australia, ping is at 25ms or so . I've reset the router and done two hard resets in the last week. Ha and definitely waiting for the three lock on. I'll give twitter a go and post back if I get a
response. Thanks for your help.

 

The only issue I have with it now is that it doesn't seem quite as snappy as it did when the game first launched. Update 4 broke it so that you'd lose the locks when you sprinted, so if you had auto-sprint on (as I do) then it constantly lost the locks and
you could only get a proper lock - even on grunts - if you stopped and stood still. They fixed that, but it still doesn't seem like it's as smooth/snappy to lock on as before. I would say that it works though, at least for me, although I rarely use it now
I'm maxed out on gens/levels.

 

Hey, so after playing a fair bit today its mostly fixed (probably to do with update 5) still happens a little e.g. when I first logged on this afternoon, but the rest of it was OK. Thanks for your help!
