Smart home integration and Xbox. Looking for a way to send popup messages to xbox

First I want to applaud the current effort that has been made to integrate the xbox within smart homes. Google integration works like a charm so I can ask my google assistant to start a game and my tv and xbox will turn on and start the game.
Home assistant picks up that the xbox has been turned on and will dim the lights.

There is some improvement I want to make though: When someone rings our doorbell, I want to get a visual notification, because when I'm gaming, I do this with a headset and I can't hear the doorbell.

On PC, I solved this with pushbullet: They provide an api that I can integrate in home assistant, so that when someone rings the doorbell, I will get a notification on my pc. I would love to also get a notification on my xbox, and here I am a bit stuck on
what to do:

I see a few possible options:

- If there is a way to use the xbox messaging api, I could use that to send the message. Problem is that the popup would say "x has sent you a message", and not "hey, someone's at the door". Also, as far as I know, microsoft doesn't provide a public api
for this.

- if pushbullet could get an xbox version of their app approved, that would pretty much completely solve my issue, but this is also completely out of my hands.

- Microsoft could extend the current smart home features with an extra "messaging" option, allowing devices on the internal network to send popup messages.

Any ideas on how to tackle this?
