Smart Glass

I am at the end of my tether with Smart Glass, up to the point that I am probably going to to sell my Xbox 360. I am in the UK and have an EE Brightbox 2 router. I have the Smart Glass app on two Android phones, but neither works.
I can sign in on the phones, but it always says "Cannot connect to your Xbox" on the app.

So far, I have tried:

• Making sure Xbox and phone are on same wireless network
• Resetting the Xbox and network
• Resetting the router
• Resintalling the app
• Opening up the ports from
  here
• Turning the router firewall off and putting the Xbox into the DMZ.
• Trying the app on my Windows 10 laptop

I'm about to give up and sell the Xbox. Is there anything else I can try? Maybe I have missed something obvious on the router settings.

Smart Glass

Smart glass doesn't seem to be working as well as it used to. For instance I cannot use smart glass to control the cursor when using Edge any more or I cannot navigate Netflix. Anyone else having problems with Smart Glass?

Not very helpful, unfortunately. I have the same question, and I'm wondering why there's no Smartglass for iOS, yet. The web page says it's already on the Xbox Companion, but that's total bull. The Smartglass app is supposed to allow pinch and drag and all
that. That was supposed to be the whole point of never having a browser on Xbox: the control interface was inadequate, so they came up with Smartglass. How can I "beta test" the IE app if the control interface that was supposedly created for that express purpose
is not yet available? Isn't that the ENTIRE purpose of a "beta test"? Gimme a break..... I guess you'll have to forgive me for operating in the world of logic and reason.
