Smart glass companion doesn't work for dead rising 3.

Just got an xbox one, and dr3. The first day it loaded a screen, with a little house on it, but no more. For the last 3 days I've spent between 1-2 hours googling, and trying everything to fix it. The smartglass works, but the dr3 companion thing keeps
giving me the oops message. I'm really gutted, as I know I've been missing out on some fab gaming. Sad to see others have the same prob, but also relieved, as hoping it will be resolved soon, before I finish the game!

I have an ipad mini, running smartglass 2.8.0729

xperia p, running 2.4.1408.25000

I posted this last night in a thread where others had the same issue, but am now worried I wasn't meant to do that!

Xbox One has been a disappointment so far.

I agree doc I'm having a blast in dead rising 3 and the smart glass companion is very cool addition. Even the tablet companion for bf4 multiplayer. Smartglass is a very cool feature.

 

Game needed to show the full power of this console

Have you not played Dead Rising 3? That uses smart glass as an integral part of the game.

 

I have had my Xbox one for about a week. At first smartglass worked with dr3, it stopped working

3 days ago. It was pretty cool. I hope it gets fixed soon!! I keep getting notices on my screen that my game did not all the way install. I can not figure out how to fix the problem. I am still able to play, I am just afraid when I get to the end the
game will not work. Did you get your game to install all the way?/

 

Oooooooh, sorry for the delayed reply, I didn't get a notification thing.

I had trouble with it when I was installing it, but I think/hope it's ok now. It wouldn't get past a certain percent, can't think what now. In the end I deleted it, reinstalled it offline, until it wouldn't install anymore, then went online for it to finish.
It took FOREVER to install. Hours and hours. But you can't delete yours, and start again, as you will lose your progress. ( I really hope you get to the end without any trouble! Does it give you a percentage number or something over the game tile?
