Smart glass app won’t let me send messages

Discus and support Smart glass app won’t let me send messages in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I’m trying to send messages on the smartglass app and I can open them, however, I cannot reply to any.     Smart glass app won’t let me send messages


    I’m trying to send messages on the smartglass app and I can open them, however, I cannot reply to any. Is there a fix to this? It worked perfectly fine before the last update

    My sons smart glass app won't let him send messages on smart glass comes up with access denied change his privacy settings something like that, he is 22 and has no family settings on can someone help please.

    Can't access messages on Xbox.com or Xbox App.

    make sure to look thru your message on the smart glass app, worked for me

    My Notifications are Dead .

    Same problem, Smart glass will still notify me when someone comes online or sends me a message but I get nothing from my Xbox.

    Found Out Something New The Other Day

    I actually think smart glass is great. I work very erratic hours as do a lot of my xbox friends. They send me messages to come online and I receive on my phone on smart glass which is great because otherwise I wouldn't know they were on. That alone makes
    it worthwhile to me.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We need a little more information to ensure we provide the correct solution. Are you attempting to send a message through the console or the Xbox app for mobile devices? Did you receive a link to add the number and
    send the code through your Xbox message center or email address of the Microsoft account? If the console is an Xbox One, we recommend

    completing a power cycle     by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. Once the console has been power cycled, we recommend attempting to send a message. Be sure to let us know the results!

    I deleted only the xbox live empty message using my smart glass app and that worked for me. I didn't have to delete any of my friend's messages!
