Smart Glass App on my PC is not connecting to my One

Discus and support Smart Glass App on my PC is not connecting to my One in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I'm not quite sure if this is the right spot for this app, so if not please direct me to where it should go.     Smart Glass App on my PC is not connecting to my One


    So I'm not quite sure if this is the right spot for this app, so if not please direct me to where it should go.

    As the title says my One smart glass app on my pc can't seem to find my Xbox One on the network. My cell phone however can find the One on the very same network. I tried my 360 app on my pc and that connects just fine. Oddly enough I happen to be participating
    in a Beta that requires my connection to my Xbox account to verify my beta status and that app/program can't connect to get verification either. The Beta app was working just fine a week ago.

    Any help would be appreciated. I already have checked my firewall and it shows both smartglass apps as being safe.

    Smart Glass on Surface Pro

    I am having problems connecting my xbox 360 Smart Glass app on my Surface Pro. They are both logged on to the same account. It says that my device cant find the console. When I go to the main screen of the app it can tell the last game I was playing. The
    Xbox Smart Glass app is turned on in system settings. Please advise.

    Argh! The XB1 is so frustrating!

    smart glass can also control the tv volume as well, found the smart glass app for xbox one (there is an xbox one and an xbox 360 app...they are different) fixes a lot of my little hiccups with using my Xbox One.

    Cant find the settings to connefct to Smart Glass

    Pretty sure I just signed into my Smart Glass, turned on my X1 and then selected Connect to Xbox One in Smart Glass?

    As long as they are on teh same network (WiFi) then it should auto connect after that.

    Hey I know a common solution to this problem could be that the smart glass setting on the Xbox is turned off

    in My games & apps, select Settings.

    Select Preferences.

    In Smart Glass Connections, select the option that best meets your needs.

    I hope to get the ONE on may. And I have the smart glass app already on my WP8. So it not like I can not connected to XB1 only friends at this time.
