    Small Request - Xbox Wireless Headsets


    Hello Xbox Community,

    I have seen this has been addressed in the passt as well, but with no real solution provided.

    For all the Xbox fans out there, which use a Xbox Wireless Headset (lots of choices today), there is no option after pairing the device, to stop the automatic control of the Console. Some of these Headsets have other purposes too (ex. Bluetooth
    Music/Conference Calls).

    That means once paired, the headset behaives itself exactly like a paired Xbox Controller.

    Powering up Headset --> Powers up the Console

    Powering down Console --> Powers down the Headset

    It would be really usefull/great/awesome/magic to have an option in Settings or Xbox Accessories App to enable/disable the automatic control for the specific paired Headset.

    Only a small selection of wireless headsets work with the Xbox One family of consoles. I believe SteelSeries have produced one which comes with a USB dongle that works with the Xbox One (and other platforms like Android devices, and the Nintendo Switch),
    LucidSound, Turtle Beach, and Astro also make wireless headsets that are compatible with the Xbox One family of consoles.

    Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums regarding this situation. Sorry to hear you are running into this problem with your chat headsets, unfortunately there is no news regarding Xbox releasing a wireless chat headset at this moment. I know the Xbox
    360 Console had the small Wireless Chat Headset unfortunately there is nothing at the moment for the Xbox One.

    I understand that you don't have the need for a wireless stereo headset but if you would like a wireless headset that would be what is available at the moment. If you do wish to use a chat headset then you would have to opt for the wired options that we
    have online on the
    Xbox Accessories     site.
