Small Controller Issue

I just bought a new controller a couple of days ago, and something seems off.

It seems that the right analogue stick seems to have some travel to the left, but not to the right. By travel i mean it moves without much resistance at all to the left, but requires the normal amount of travel to the right (that being none).

Microsoft sent me a 160 point code and it says Sorry the Code is no longer available.

and the message just showed up while I was looking in my email

You might be experiencing this due to the type of the controller. For example, if it is a 3rd Party controller this might your problem, is it something other than a Microsoft brand controller that you are using?

 

So microshaft wants me to ship my controllers back to them at my expense due to both of them drifting up. Just spent over $700 for garbage and the landfill wants me to spend more to "fix" the problem. Anyone else having this issuewith there controllers?

 

Btw mine are both Microsoft controllers , not 3rd party.

 

Im an xbox guy all the way but starting to get fed up with consistant problems with Microsoft products. I really dont want to go to the dark side but the ps4 is looking appealing.

 

I actually forgot I wrote this for a while.

Anyways, the controller is an official Microsoft one, Xbox 360 for PC and Xbox 360.

 

All new items have a standard warranty, take it back to where you bought it from, explain the problem and get it exchanged.

And for all those calling Microsoft products, please remember that everything (consoles, controllers, cables, etc) are all manufactured under licence in China.
