    Title pretty much says the entirety of my problem, but I’d like to offer more detail. I’ve read about other people having flickering issues with the new consoles, but I haven’t found any that look similar to my flickering. Other posts mostly focus on HDR and 4K TV’s, except I play on a monitor which is set to 1080p 120hz over HDMI. The flickering didn’t show at all while watching Netflix, but as soon as I switch to a game, and I’ve tried three different games, it immediately goes back to these little flickering boxes. I’m certain the issue is my console as I’ve had this monitor for nearly a year and haven’t had an issue until I secured a Series X only two weeks ago. I’ve also tried multiple different HDMI cables, changing my display settings in all sorts of ways, restarting the console and the apps, but I’m just out of ideas at this point. I haven’t seen any other posts showing this same type of flickering, others have their entire screens flashing black, but mine is just a bunch of smaller flickering boxes. If anyone has had a similar issue or just has any input on this, I’m desperately listening.

    Also, I’m typing this on mobile so if it looks awful, I’m sorry.

    You talk about going black but have flickering on Topic.

    There was an official Problem with HDR Flickering on that TVs and Xbox but that should be fixed a time ago
    The screen flickers when HDR or HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour is on in the TV, after a while of flickering it goes black, then the TV loses the signal from the Xbox. That's
    my problem.

    If I deactivate HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Colour, then there's no more flickering and no more black screen.

    Well it isn't fixed yet, I'm 100% sure I am on the latest firmware on both the LG C9 and the Xbox One X.

    Hey, having the same problem here. Using Xbox One X. It was working fine for a year and recently started flickering. I have bought a new 4k tv and it's even worse. I bought a new high speed HDMI cable: new set of issues - complete black screen or it flickers
    heavily. Went to test the XBOX on a 3rd tv and it flickers as well. I'd appreciate some help.

    I cannot find the post again, but IIRC I saw people mention the electricity cable, some had to change it completely and some just had to turn it 180 degrees (switch holes/pins on Xbox energy cable).

    Not 100% sure but worth a try.
