    Sluggish Series X since home screen update.


    Hello folks the issue is in the title ever since I updated my series X for the new home screen layout I have noticed that the series X is extremely sluggish. I will give you an example when I have been on a game or YouTube when I go back to home all the tiles are not there for half a second and then they will appear one by one. I never had this issue prior to the home screen update. And also I have noticed inputs from my controller seem to be sluggish also. Anyone else noticed this?

    Hey man, since the update I'm having the same issues, tried various resets also and nothings working. Xbox is performing very sluggish also, takes like 5 minutes to power on and load up the home screen and to load anything up at all. Also got the same
    model xbox as you.

    Sometimes I can only hear menu/homescreen sounds and not in game, sometimes I can only hear sound in game and not on home screen.

    Do you mean crashes as in switches off? or back to the Home Screen? My son has had 3 series x so far! The first two randomly switching off and Microsoft said to return for refund and this latest one was dropping the internet connection by going back to the Home Screen. It seems as though my wireless internet connection wasn’t good enough even though the series x is in the same room as router. I tried using an Ethernet cable connecting the series x directly to the router and not had a problem since! I would recommend trying this. I know its not ideal in the day of WiFi but it’s worked for us and my son is happy.
