    Sluggish download speeds for the past week


    For the past week, my xbox has sudden 300+mb of updates that interrupt my usage. The issue is that the download speeds are absolutely sluggish and I dont encounter this with any of my other devices. This has happened only since April 2018.

    Thanks for checking. There's some of us that are having similar issues that started up of the past few weeks or so but its affecting download speed yet speed tests show correctly.

    Extremely low download speeds, upload remains the same

    For the past week my xbox one has been having issues with downloading games and updates. I have it wired to the modem so I don't exactly know why I'm getting this problem. Normally my download speeds are from around 70-80 mbps, but during the past week and
    a half, I've been getting download speeds of 1-6mbps. I asked support and they literally did nothing but give me the steps I already tried out. Even the most weirdest thing being my upload speeds remain at 12 mbps every time and never drops. I just want my
    old download speeds back..Can someone help me?

    Items not downloading properly, netflix streaming doesn't work right.

    just did a speed test my download maxed at about 13 megs and upload was about 6 megs

    forgot to add, ive been lagging in and out of parties every five minutes for the past week or so

    16 hours later and Dragon Age is only 28% installed.....

    I've noticed the download on all games have been pretty slow the past few days. The servers are probably overloaded with pre-downloads and purchases of big titles coming out this week.

    I would double check your download speed through your internet provider though, to make sure there isn't another issue!

    Are you able to get your messages, when you sign in on the Xbox.com website?

    Is your console doing stuff in the background when you experience "sluggish" performance? Sometimes during gameplay I get occasional slowdowns or stuttering when a download has just finished, and the console is working on the downloaded game or app to get
    it ready. During that time when the console works on the storage drive, the console seems sluggish, but returns to the usual speed after the console is finished working.
