Slowest digital install I have ever experienced!

hi, I decided to buy GTA V at about 13:00 today, I didnt fancy going shopping so I spent an extra £20 and bought it through the xbox store - It's now 19:00 and ninja warrior has started, the Mrs really fancies watching it so it's lucky for her I have an
Xbox one and my game is at 74%.

I should have learned my lesson from bf hardline or Fifa taking an eternity really but I assumed they were due to teething issues, that excuse is loooong out of time now, i have never regretted buying Microsoft (except maybe vista) but with my total investment
in the Xbox one well over £1000 now I'm getting frustrated.

What is happening??? I have 160 meg from Virgin so I know it isn't them. Do you not want me to buy any more games?

Happened to me as well. Most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced. In this digital age, you would think they would have this solved by now.

Games are taking too long to install on the One S

I always install discs in (go offline) mode the xbox one installs the game and the updates at the same time which makes it slow. If I buy digital I hit the option to install updates later it helps.

I too purchased GTA V from the store when it came out on Xbox One. Like you too, I have 152Mb/s from Virgin. However, I don't think the problem is anything too strange. It took me about 7 or 8 hours to download it, but it's a big game, and Virgin slows down
your speeds slightly whenever you download or use too much in a certain amount of time.

There isn't any 'Traffic Management on VM on speeds of 30Mb/s or higher. The only traffic management in place is upload speed, which does not apply when downloading a game from Xbox LIVE.

You could try changing your DNS server settings in the network settings of the console to use Google's free DNS service rather than Virgin Media's. This can have a dramatic effect sometimes.

See this is where COD and its fan base is hilarious....aside from MW1 and MW2 - these are my next two favorite COD and this is the slowest I have ever ranked up in a COD

I feel for you because I don't even know if the 360 could sustain my gaming habits now, I really enjoy being spoilt for choice, like I am right now.
