Slow Xbox One Console Update Downloads

My updates are really slow to download, my Internet is fine, speed tests show that it's more than capable of downloading quicker.

Anybody else have this problem?

A main factor in the speed along with slower internet speeds is the size of the update.

Games not updating or installing

Have you tried resetting your network and then
power cycle the console? Also, are you currently using a wired or wireless connection with your console?

Additionally, we'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps in the
Slow Game or App downloads guide for the slow download issue that you are experiencing with this game.

By 'slow', are we talking ridiculously slow, like hours?

Generally, the updates aren't the fastest thing, for whatever reason that may be.

 

As a example, my Internet runs at an average 30mb/s download, and the a 254mb update usually takes around 20min to download.

 

Two years later, and this still hasn't been fixed. I have 80 down, and I've been downloading the most recent 450 MB system update for the past half hour. And I'm only at 60%. It's completely ridiculous.
