Slow Xbox dashboard.

Hello

I have been a proud Xbox one X owner since release, i live in Norway and have never gotten any good support on my country when it comes to microsoft, but i still hold on strong. Recently, the past two months, my xbox dash board has been incredibly slow.
It needs very long time to send invite to party and needs long time to start games. The machine is struggling with the dashboard.

Try disconnecting from the Internet. Restart your Xbox. If it gets to the dashboard right away then your Internet is slow. If it is still slow getting to the dashboard it could mean your hard drive is going bad.

Sorry for your bad experience. If you didn't do yet, move on your console to Settings/General/design and movement and disable "Fluent Transitions" Your Dashboard should behave faster after.

Hi there, I would recommend clearing your cache.

To help improve gameplay, temporary files and data are often stored on your console. Over time, this cached data might become corrupted, which can lead to issues with connectivity, game freezes, or slow or unsuccessful game loads.

To do to this go to Settings, Network, Network Settings, Advance Settings then Click Alternate MAC Address then click Clear.

You may benefit from a hard restart on your console.

If you go into Settings-Blu-ray-clear persistent storage. That will make it faster for a period of time, and then it will go back to being slow and buggy. Unfortunately there isn't a way to fix the dashboard from being like this permanently. I know what
I suggested sounds like it would not fix the problem but it does lol and I don't even watch physical movies on the console I have to do this with!
