    So I have had a problem with slow upload since around Nov 2018. It's gotten to the point that I am actually getting kicked from the game on live due to slow uploads. I spoke with a tier one for a little over an hour. His resolution was to buy a new modem/router
    or router and bridge it. So I drop 370 dollars cause I figure Im sick of the Surfboard anyway. I have hard and soft cycled the power on both the Xbox and modem/router. I have restarted and reset the Xbox. I have port forwarded the designated ports. I have
    reserved the IP in the router for the xbox. I have DMZed the Xbox. Two boxes in house and yes uPnP is working correctly both affected. Keep in mind I have ZERO upload speed problems for anything else in my LAN. I have run smoke ping through DSLreports for
    12 hours for packet loss/Dos/Reroute and nothing would indicate a problem. I have notified the ISP of three download channels that do have some noise problems but, none of them are in the harmonic range of the upload. So after seven months of troubleshooting
    it keeps coming back to Xbox itself. I dont mind the 370 dollars I needed a new setup anyway. But, when I cant even stay connected to a live game... there is something definitely wrong, when nothing else in my LAN suffers these same problems... SO [Mod

    Here is the hilarious thing..I call support again, (4th Time) tier one tech again and tell him after his read through I want a tier two. He says, " my supervisor cant come to the phone right now".. why in gods name would I want to speak to a tier 1 supervisor.
    Then I realize I'm talking to some one in India that knows squat except how to read a power point or Script. Then I tell him okay ill wait. He said he will have to "call me back"...Grrr Dude calls me back around an hour later and said his boss is ready to
    help...LOL OKAY. This clown actually tries to run me through the exact same script as the first "TECH". I tell him I want to speak to a tier 3 and the guy no kidding says his boss isnt in right now they will have to call me back.. This is just the most pathetic
    waste of time. These guys dont even understand a tiered support system...unbelievable! This has become a joke! It's not just me either with these upload problems.. Ive bookmarked past Questions/Discussions that are similar to the one I just posted and they
    don't get archived they get ghosted! Something is wrong and has been for a while. Why would I do a reset and my connection shoots up to a 9M upload and after my account has fully redownloaded from the cloud it goes back to 1.5 to 2.5. tells me that fetch is
    way overloaded or their internal router tables are garbage/corrupt!

    !!!Update!!!.. Ive had my ISP come out and check my connection. Shocker, ZERO problems! I was fairly sure there weren't any internal or external noise, dB, etc. but, just wanted to make sure. Better safe than sorry! Just out of curiosity, I did a traceroute
    through my router and low and behold I had 24 hops. The first three IANA (so ignore those), 4th was my ISP, 5th MSN Global, 6 through 9 all MSN then I have three TIMEOUTS then 8 more MSN IP's then 3 more TIMEOUTS then finally MSlive... SERIOUSLY!!!!! If anyone
    knows a # I can call that would be spec tac u lar...I'm not talking about the TOOLS in India a real networking Tier 1...Honestly it shouldn't be this hard to get this fixed! If anyone has any ideas of something I'm missing let me know.. cause this is straight

    I’m in Florida on Cox and having this same issue. I think I’m just going to get a PS4 and try that.

    I have a friend that had Cox and he had the same issue. Unfortunately he didn't find a solution through customer service with Cox. He ended up changing providers.
