Slow upload speeds on gigabit connection

The numbers your seeing, are those on your console? The speeds you're seeing from a Network Settings test? I would recommend comparing them to what you see on a different device such as a PC or Mac by vising a speed test site, like
SpeedTest.net See if they differ there. Then we can identify if we need to look at a console issue or if it's a networking/networking gear issue.

Glad you have a definitive answer. There are so many points between your console and Xbox Live that it could be so so so many different things from the NIC in your console, the cable, your in-home wiring, your networking gear and setup, your ISP, your ISP's
routing, the backbone connection, the data center that Xbox Live runs in for your region, etc. that it can be very hard to diagnose where an issue might be.

Hope the upload doesn't impact you too much, your download speeds are better than most. Have fun!

Seeing as minimum upload speed required is 0.5mbps, I don't see why you would need more.

I'm more curious about the "why". Is upload speed throttled by the servers? IS there a setting keeping it from being higher? Its just odd that all devices are 100 mbps + upload, but the xbox isn't, when the cable, router, xbox & my isp seem to support up
to 1000 mbps (max).

Im not sure why I didnt do this FIRST, but I got a confirmation from support that upload speeds are capped in my region. It seems like a simple suggestion, but i thank you for telling me to contact support, because for whatever reason, my brain wouldnt let
that happen
