Slow Transition Speeds!

Microsoft you really need to work on the transition speed between apps. Just to go to my friends list takes a load time. This console just seems way slower than the 360 and it is suppose to be bigger and better. Also the update speeds are terrible. The were
never real good on 360 but these are horrible. It has nothing to do with my connection. I have my xbox one wired connection and fast internet speed. Think it would make alot of people happy not to have to wait for all these terrible transition loading times
on a console that is suppose to be better than last gen consoles. I rarely have used my xbox one since i bought it because of these issues. My 360 is just far superior and that is just not suppose to be the case. Thank if you take this post to heart and actually
try to fix this.

Slow Speed

I know there are already lots of threads on this topic, but I have yet to find a solution in any of them, so I've started another one.

Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to help.

I just bought a new xbox 360 S w/ kinect. Everything works fine except I get poor streaming video; it stops to buffer a lot. I ran a speedtest with the IE app at speedof.me (non-flash) and consistently get around 1.7mb. I have a 50mb cable connection
and get stellar results on all other devices. Usually anywhere between 20mb and 50mb.

I have tried:

• Wireless (2 different routers)
• Wired (through router and direct to cable modem)
• Static (public) IP and local IP (dhcp and static).
• Different ethernet cables
• Rebooting all devices (routers, modems, xbox)
• Port forwarding
• Clearing the xbox cache
• Resetting the xbox networking
• Various non flash speedtests (since the xbox can't do flash)
• Talked to my ISP support
• Talked to xbox support

I always get around 1.7mb on the xbox no matter how I connect.

Nobody has had a solution yet.

The only thing I haven't tried is taking the xbox to a friend's house and testing on another internet connection. I'll be doing that this afternoon, but was hoping someone on here would have another suggestion I could try.

Slow Speed

Trying running a trace route to see if that identifies any issues.

On your PC go to start -> run then type CMD

This will open a command prompt window and then type

tracert xeas.xboxlive.com

This will show you how many hops you have to make to reach xbox live and might show where the delay is. With this information you can then talk to your ISP about possible routing issues.

have you tried any troubleshooting to try and speed up the transitions? It shouldn't be that slow, my Xbox one works rather fast. Just clear the persistent storage, and perform a hard reset. See if that helps
