Slow system download between 75%-85%

Whenever updating Xbox One, the download speed is normal (like 40mbps) from 0-75%, then it crawls from 75%-85% (at like 0.2mbps), then speeds again up after 85% (like 10mbps).

I've witnessed this same behavior now on perhaps 6 updates, and during the time update download crawls, internet connection speeds from other devices are just fine (like 80mbps). It doesn't matter whether the update is 300MB or 2GB. For game downloads the
download speed is normal and no slowdowns are seen. My connection is 100mbps fiber.

What could be causing this? Is Xbox just flushing downloaded data from memory to disk, so is it by design, or is anyone else seeing this behavior?

Guess the Metacritic score for Sunset Overdrive & Lords of the Fallen!

I think Sunset Overdrive will get between 80-85.

I got Lords of the Fallen yesterday (4 days early, woo hoo!), it's good, but it has a few problems. I think it'll get somewhere between 70-75.

 

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Taking a Long Time To Download?

I started my download of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate around 3:15PM and it's only at 85% complete right now (it's 4:48pm) I am wondering if this is slow or normal?



BTW it's not my Internet because I did a speed test and everything runs at normal/slightly above normal speed (Between 55Mbps to 60Mbps).

 

We see this all the time in the preview program with all the updates we get, I don't remember the correct words for it but it will download around 75% then it slows down as it sorts its self out to get ready to install the update, then it will install. I
think with games it just downloads and installs without having to remove files.
