Slow store downloads

I have a Series X and am getting slow download speeds. When I do a network speed test from the console it gives me around 1Gbs which is my internet speed and network bandwidth, however whenever I am downloading from the store I'm getting speeds between 300 and 400 Mbs. I've opened the correct ports on my router, I've set up a different DNS as recommended by another post and cleared the MAC address and reset the console, so far nothing has worked.

No one who is providing online services will provide you with a giga bit of bandwidth. Gigabit connections are intended for a family of four heavy users simultaneously.

You’re already getting far above what most people get.

At those speeds, you can download your average AAA game in about 15 minutes or less.

My ISP provides me with 800kbps download speeds and I get that on every other device on my network, I'm just curious as to why downloads are slower on the console itself. I realize it's not an important issue and I am very privileged to have dependable high speed internet at my house. I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining I was just curious as to the why. Plus if I'm paying for 800kbps I shouldn't be limited to 400 on a single device.

I am still having the same issue, I've heard from a couple of other users on Reddit that 400kbps is just the maximum download speed from Microsoft, is this true?

Thanks for getting back to us.

The download speed lies on how the Internet Service Providers (ISP) limit your downloads per certain number of Gigabytes per month. Link: Manage network bandwidths for game downloads on Xbox | Xbox Support

There could be allocated monthly limit to your network and that would determine the restriction you will experience when downloading and playing your games. You may manage that or else perform troubleshooting following the guide here - Troubleshoot slow game or app downloads | Xbox Support.
