Slow startup and slow opening apps

Discus and support Slow startup and slow opening apps in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My husbands Xbox has been taking at least 20 minutes to start up.     Slow startup and slow opening apps


    My husbands Xbox has been taking at least 20 minutes to start up. After selecting and app it will take at least 5 but up to 15 minutes to open the app. I have cleared out as much memory as I can. I have cleared the cache. I have checked my router for the
    Upsp, which was open... He has 107 GB of storage on hard drive. Oh, and it takes as long to get out of an app as it takes to open it. All I want to do is watch Hulu and Netflix... please help!!

    Upload/Upload Studio causing severe lag?

    This interface is SO horrible

    I'm in the preview, instant on mode. My console is definitely slower than a lot on here but nowhere near as slow as LK's console. I rarely did a hard reset last year, since xmas though it's every other day. I don't get lock ups or freezing, the console is
    just slow at opening apps.

    okay, and now it won't let me connect to Xbox live... although it says the connection is fine.

    Please help!!

    So I fixed my issue seems to be caused by files being corrupted, i first deleted the cache, formated xbox, then redownloaded account, and it has fixed the issue! If you try this recommend at least saving game saves to flash drive.

    Freaking thing takes forever. I've had nothing but problems with this last update on my slim. Not happy. Sitting staring at a grey screen waiting for the xbox to start up. Bleh
