Slow speeds downloading and test

200Mb dl 20up cable internet.

Nighthawk router

Connected ethernet.

Xbox oneS 500gb

Plenty of space on drive

Nat open

Ports forwarded.

well. I decided to download ryse today and began my download. I noticed it was showing speeds something between .5 and 7Mbs dl speed. So I hope over and run the speed test. It's telling me im getting between 9 and 14 Mbs with maybe 5 average packet loss.
Tried the reset. Nothing changes. Reset alternate mac. No change. Tested on my phone n tablet fine speeds. Hooked ethernet from xbox to laptop, speed is normal.

I then navigated to speedtest.net on the xbox ones browser. Says im getting 213Mb/s down 23 up.

Downloads speed now at maybe 1.4Mb and crawling from MS.test and dl speed for game

So my xbox is getting the speed its supposed to but im at a crawl connecting to MS.

What am I missing here?

Slow Xbox One Console Update Downloads

My updates are really slow to download, my Internet is fine, speed tests show that it's more than capable of downloading quicker.

Anybody else have this problem?

 

Slow downloading speeds?

I have Dodo NBN with 25/5 speeds and my xbox seems to download things very slowly, I have a CAT6 ethernet cable wired into the console and I'm only managing to hit about 5Mb/s, which is making it very hard to download updates. The console managed to hit
about 10-15Mb/s the other night but since then it's been slow. It's a brand new XBone S that I've only had for about 4 days and I'm not sure how to fix it. Restarting my router and the Xbox doesn't seem to help either.

 

I experienced this many times, and also read confirmation from other users on this.

When Xbox is runnings towards MS is crawling, and I connect with plenty headroom from a pc on same connection - so ISP is good.

Bottleneck is MS.

MS is pushing so hard against clouds and game downloads and stuff - so they better adjust server parks as well.

 

Another thing to remember is that the speedtest on the xbox one is less than reliable.

It always tells me i'm getting faster download speeds than I actually am.

 

turned on the xbox today and rise started to Dl at over 200Mb for just a second. After about 20 seconds I've slowed down to 65Mb
