Slow Response Issue With Xbox One Home and other issues

To whom it may concern,

I had installed the March update about a week ago and have been using my Xbox One to simple play games, watch T.V and to do a few things on upload over the past week. Last night my Xbox began giving me the Disc unreadable issue that many individuals have
been having error code (0x21 if i remember correctly).

My Xbox has also been having a issue with its responsiveness and is the main reason I came to this forum. The best way I can put it, is that when I am playing a game and at its main menu or any part of the game and press the home button on my controller
I do not see it go to home. Rather it stay at the menu screen of the game or what ever part of the game and takes away my control. If I click on the D-pad or move the analog stick I hear sounds as if the console is at the menu screen and moving from page to
page of app to app but the screen still shows me just the game's title screen. This forces me to do one of two things the first is to eject the disc and wait for my system to finally realize and go to the home page on the console or turn the system off completely.

Also the console at time will not let me put a game disc into the console, when I do try console says that is cant read this type of disc and say to put in an xbox one game and other stuff...

To say the least I hope who every see this can find away or think of something that might be the cause, Thank for you time and have a nice day...

Hey, i would like to get a response for this issue.

I have 2 Xbox One in home, and I set mine as the "home" xbox so the other one can download everything I buy, but my cousin is moved to home last week and he already had a xbox one so he brought his xbox to my home, so there´s my questions: Is there any way that he can use MY GAMES in his own xbox?

- I know you can only have one Home Xbox, but how does the "Family" option works?

Hi, i am sorry to hear that you are having a problem.

Disc drive issues are known, and it could be that yours need to be replaced, if so, contact support and start the process.

But before you do that, let's try one thing.

Power cycle your Xbox by holding down the Xbox button on the console for 8 seconds. Check that your power adapter light glows amber. Leave it off for 30 seconds and start it up again and see if that solved your issue.

 

im having the home issue like you and freezzing, and aps not opening, being very slow no mater how many times you clear the system cache

 

While doing the power cycle, after the console has turned off, remove the power cord from the console and remove the network cable if plugged in, and leave off for at least 30 sec. Could be the cache isn't properly cleared.

 

I'm having some of the same issues. I notice a slight lag while navigating the menus, however Killer Instinct boots out of sync almost every time. During online play, the inputs become delayed and or just down right misread. I have to reboot KI at least
3 to 4 times before it works, and when it does finally work, it only lasts a few minutes. I've already performed the above steps. I've also uninstalled KI, not once, but twice. When that didn't work, I performed a Factory Reset on my Xbox One, wiping everything
off of it and setting it up as a new machine. It worked amazingly for all of 15 minutes before having the same problems.

I contacted Double Helix and they advise that it could be a possible hardware issue, but I'm at a loss.

 

Then i would contact support to figure out your next step.

 

Everybody says the same stupid thing, "Power cycle your Xbox.". REALLY? Do I really need to do that every single time I want to look at someones profile whom I'm playing with? Do I need to do that every time I am trying to view my achievements or my messages?
"Hmm lets see what I've earned today. Wait I need to totally restart my Xbox first" God knows we wouldn't want to bog down this $500 living room ornament. God forbid it acts as quickly as the 360 did. God forbid people actually feel like they stepped up with
the Xbox One instead of falling to the bottom of the cliff. What a piece of junk.

I have the same issue as well. I was thinking it was due to getting in the TV Tuner as that arrived at the end of March. I didn't think about an update possibly causing the issue.

I have the Xbox set to go straight to TV when turned on, which it does just fine. But when I want to go to the home screen, it just wont happen. At least not unless I wait for a few minutes and try again. Also the same issue while playing some games,
if I am in game at say a menu screen, it will just stay there when the home button is pressed and you cant do anything.

I have tried the reset already as I had to do that to get out of the game the first time it happened. But the lag is still there with coming out of TV and into the home screen. I haven't played a game since the issue happened last so Ill have to see if
its still an issue tomorrow when I get a chance.
