Slow loading Xbox dashboard

Discus and support Slow loading Xbox dashboard in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So is anyone else experiencing a slow loading dashboard after exiting a game, or app?     Slow loading Xbox dashboard


    So is anyone else experiencing a slow loading dashboard after exiting a game, or app? I believe it was after the lastest update I started to notice that everytime I left a game or app, my dashboard started to load slowly like I just turned on my console.
    My girlfriend said she noticed the same thing on her console. She has an Xbox one S and I have a Xbox one X.

    Remove hard drive, boot up console and deny any update it offers, let it finish booting up offline.

    Turn off, plug drive back on, reboot as normal.

    .

    That fixes this problem for many people.

    xBox Dashboard - Slow loading

    Hi,

    Does it still load up fine without the hard drive attached? If so, it could be a faulty hard drive.

    I get this as well. Though I'm in the alpha skip ahead so never sure if that is part of the issue.

    You can report it via the console. Long press the xbox /nexus button on the controller until the shutdown menu appears, there should be a report option on the right.

    Are your consoles enrolled in the Xbox Insider preview program? Or are you on the official system version?

    Slow loading Xbox dashboard

    Hello Cody,

    We understand that the dashboard is not loading properly.

    Our suggestion here, check the network connection status within the Network Settings, and find Detailed Network Statistics.

    Upon checking this, attempt to follow our How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console article.

    Try these out and come back with your findings so that we may further our investigation.

    I have preformed the steps mentioned and is still slow. I have even tried this offline and it still loads slowly

    MS claims performance increases evey update but as long as we have a social media and mxer based UI that’s using the internet to autoload videos it’s going to run poorly.

    xBox Dashboard - Slow loading

    Tried it with harddrive disconnected - no difference.

    I've also tried clearing cache, no effect either.

    At this point, I have to wait between 15 to 20 to load the dashboard, and then if I'm lucky if I can even log into xbox live. (not a router or cord issue - I've tried multiple, and they all work on other devices just fine.)

    Any advice?

    I've tried the advice from that thread before, but it unfortunately did not work -- and I tried again to no avail.

    Seems like it has been continuing to get worse.

    I would assume it would be a faulty hard drive issue, but since the load times are the same with or without it, I'm stuck as to what I can do.

    Another question: Should clearing the system cache take roughly 1 second? The loading screen appeared after I selected to clear the cache, but it disappeared just as quickly. Could the cache be an issue but I've just been unable to clear it?
