slow loading games

My Xbox is doing the same thing. It is slow to load the home screen, slow to load apps, slow to load games. Even when I turn it on now it is super slow to come on. This new update looks great, but something has got to be fixed. My xbox has never been this
slow to respond.

Admittedly, these pages do load slower than most, but I'm just happy I can post again. I'll deal with the slow load times. I mean I do play PS3 games so I'm used to slow loading.

How many people are using the same internet in your household ? It could just be that too many people are downloading or uploading stuff at the same time.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to game.

If the previously posted troubleshooting steps do not work, then I would suggest trying
this little trick that I like to do that resolves a bunch of general problems that you may have concerning your console. When you get a chance to goSettings>Disc & Blu-ray>Blu-ray>Persistent
storage and clear it 3 times. After doing that, go to
Settings>Network>Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate MAC address
and clear that alternate MAC. The console will say it needs to restart to apply the change, so let it do that and then try to download your profile again.

If that does not do the trick, then I would suggest a soft reset of the console.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.
