Slow internet speed on Xbox One

Hi,

I have the following problem:

On my laptop (wireless), phone (wireless) and tablet (wireless) I get 60 mbps download and around 50 mbps upload speed. On Xbox One with a
wired connection I get around 9.5 mbps down and 6.5 mbps up. Anyone has an idea why this is happening and if there is a way to be fixed? My ports are open (NAT is also Open).

slow updates

A main factor in the speed along with slower internet speeds is the size of the update.

This could simply be an Ethernet cable which needs replacing. Bandwidth is also given priority according to what is occurring at the time. I would try a new cable first.

It's a simple matter of distance, from point A, to point B, and every hop in between.

The speed- and pingtest on your console is not trying to resolve a server based on best ping. It's using a well known server from its default settings, which is located in Seattle, WA.

Try speedtest your Internet connection using your PC, but don't let this test run as default, instead, change testserver to a server located in Seattle, WA.

Hi

It happens to me when family use the internet too much. When its time to play game everything is slow to a crawl. Even download of any game it super slow.

Sometime this happens when their is too many people on the internet so the ISPS balance all the internet to someone else. We gamers need more internet speed.

What I do is Reboot the modem, router, any hubs

do a speed test not on the Xbox One but on a computer.. Please remember your internet speed you should be having. By rebooting your router it should bring back your internet speed. If your internet speed is still slow or low. Then its best to call your ISPS
to fix the connection or maybe thier are slow and is trying to fix the error internet speed. Then you have to wait til your ISPS fix the internet speed on thier end.

hi try check you're speed of internet and the others in the party, maybe one of the member have slow speed and is affecting others

If your download speeds are slow that would be internet related not the Xbox .
