Slow/inconsistent download speeds

The problem is if your speed is inconsistent and slow and causing Nat warnings you will have a hard time downloading

If you are using a wireless hotspot via Lte or 3g modems it will time out

You need a broad band connection for files

Backing up and dropping works everytime for me (unless it caught me off guard and I react too slow). They do seem to be inconsistent...maybe depending on the placement of the ied, the angle/speed a character is going.

Im having. Same issue, its been 2.5 hours and i just got half way through the 2gb Fortnite update. I have a fiber connection with 1gb down/ up and other app updates downloaded instantly as usual. I use 1.1.1.1 cloudfare as my DNS so tried just using automatic
and im still not getting above 900kbps....kbps, not mbps lol. Only thing different than yesterday is an xbox insider alpha ring update installed at 11am . I work in IT so ive tried resetting router and tried using my VPN to see if anything changed. My internet
speed is fine on every other device and even updating other games /apps is normal speed (100mbps+)

Yeah I would imagine the servers at Activision are sucking wind pretty hard right now lol. My NAT type is open but I did have my DNS set to automatic since I was unfamiliar with how it worked and didn't want to break anything. Since you asked though I
read up on it some more and set my primary DNS as 208.67.222.222 and the secondary as 208.67.220.220 and I'm getting almost 160mbps, thank you so much!

It can be a lot of issues. I think it is a overload of Activision servers. Your DNS settings on Xbox? Your NAT type?
