Slow Green Screen

I got my Xbox One in early June and it has been flawless until about 1am eastern this morning.

When turning it on now the Xbox One green screen takes about 1-2 minutes to go away and then the system loads. I've restarted a few times since then and the same thing. To be honest, before today I never even noticed that screen the Xbox loaded up so fast.

I've looked online and noticed there are people who say that system updates can cause this (though i see no update happening on my system). I'm not in the dashboard preview program. And mine does eventually load, unlike the people who have the 'green screen
of death' where it never loads past it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Adventure won't start

Adventure does not progress pass the green flag screen.

Other minesweeper game start slow, but freeze half way through the largest board.

 

Home screen not loading

my sons xbox one started loading games really slowly .. then it would only go on green xbox screen saying taking to long to load home screen.. now its not connecting at all .. can here the moter in it but sounds slow.. tried reboot but not working .. just

Sorry to hear about the slow loading. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
  
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and check to see if you are still experiencing slow loading times.
