    Slow Game DL and unistalled games


    Hey,

    Downloaded EA Access and Battlefield 1 to take advantage of the 10 hour trail. Game was great so bought the Deluxe edition of Battlefield and have been hammering the game over the weekend.

    Unfortunately some of us have to work for a living, so went to work this morning, anticipating the carnage that would ensue on my return later in the evening.

    However, to my horror on powering up the Xbox my DIGITAL copy of Battlefield had mysteriously uninstalled itself along with EA Access. At this point I was a little frustrated to say the least, so I decided to reinstall but no the install is a no go!!

    It's not downloading anything i'm not even getting 1kb. It flickers into life now and again only for the INSTALLATION STOPPED message to flag up. I've watched and followed the instructions on the youtube video, I've done a hard rest of the console, I've
    cancelled and restarted the install, restarted my router... I've done a speedtest and everything is fine. I tweeted the XBOX Support guys and they weren't much help and directed me here...

    PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!

    P.S. I am in the preview programme.

    So I unistalled fallout 4 beacuse it wasent working

    So I unistalled fallout 4 beacuse it wasent working and am re install the game and I went to mange game and went to saved data and there's nothing so dose that mean it unistalled everything inclined the saved data

    Venting My Frustrations with Xbox One and Halo: MCC

    A couple weeks ago I tried to DL the MCC and it was taking too long. Come to find out my NAT magically changed from open to moderate. So I unistalled what little had DL'ed and did a system reset . I then made sure my NAT was open and started the DL of MCC
    again and it worked perfectly over night. I don't even have very fast internet.

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issue with slow download. Download speeds will fluctuate all the time even hard wired. Personally yesterday me and my son were downloading the same game. My console is wired and my sons
    is wireless. Sons console was running 200 dl while mine was at 20 dl. Also remember any download of the game comes from the game servers. You can try the guide for

    slow performance    . Have you tried rebooting all network hardware?

    Even with pre-install and physical copy of a game on disc, there is still update(s) at launch which means you'll be waiting for a DL no matter which route you take. Digital DL offers more convenience, while physical copy will install faster, yet be slowed
    by update(s) at launch. Catch 22.

    I just read the 10 pages of this topic, and can't figure out my issue .... Please any help would be very, very appreciated....

    I bought Xbox Game Pass, tried to dl Forza 5 last night, it worked but had to pause it, cause something else started to dl.

    Now today, i can't dl the game : It says "Preparation 0%" stuck at this moment and after the game disappear from Installer Display ...

    No error code, the game's appear in the Installer, but freezes at 'Preparation 0%' and then disappear ....

    I tried many many solutions you guys shared on this topic (Reset, repair, unistall apps like Xbox/Microsoft Store/ Game Services (The App dlable through the Microsoft PowerShell App findable with that command)

    Any "all-digital-library hopefuls" slightly concerned with internet throttling or very long download times??

    we might be able to "Pre order" a game.. have it set to purchase and DL the moment it comes out... not too many people actually sit at the PC at midnight for a huge release.... also if your at work school... and you are one the people who will leave the
    XB1 "On".. you can order games from your PC, smart phone and send the DL to your Xbox while away...

    Also better hardware.. will mean faster DL times... we cannot compare them to the slow *** 2005 tech for DL times...(internet speed still plays a big part)
