Slow download times!

I haven't played much on my 360 in the past month or so. I've been playing on the Xbox one. So when I turned it on yesterday to play some COD ghost with some friends, I had a dashboard update. It took forever to download. When that finally finished I looked
at my router settings and made sure the 360 was in the DMZ. Restarted the router and turned the 360 back on. Next I tried downloading the new map pack for Ghost. I left it on downloading and went to my sons little leave game. I came back and it had shut off.
I figured the download had finished. Nope, it stopped at 40%. My friends were on by then so I started the download again. It took 3 hours to get to 72%. Didn't get to play. So I tried a few things with the router again. Tonight I'm up to 93% and its moving
very slow. I did a speed test on my router 63 Mbps down and 22 Mbps up 15 ping. Can someone explain why this is taking so long?

Download speeds can be affected by multiple devices connected on your network. If you plan to download a large game or file, try to make sure all other devices are using minimal resources. For example, no Netflix/Pandora on those other devices or anything
that will use heavy resources.

Slow Download Time

Has anyone else experienced really slow download times on game updates? I started downloading a 450mb Forza 5 update 3 days ago shortly after updating the Xbox One console for the March Update and I am still downloading it now.

Its currently at 44% and is blocking me from the playing it at all as none of the maps or leagues have been installed yet. Why is it taking this long? Ive installed the Need for Speed Rivals game plus updates since, that was about 20gb total while this is
450mb, its acting as though im trying to download like 100gb.

 

How are you connected? Wireless or ethernet? If you are wireless try connecting with an ethernet cable for the duration of the download. You should also contact your ISP to check and see if there's a possible bottleneck on your service.

A speed test for the net usually defaults to the nearest ping location. You should make sure it tests from a further distance.

 

Ethernet cable then tried wirelessly same result. Slow. When I download on the xbox one the speeds are fast. It too is connected via an Ethernet cable.

 

I put money on my Microsoft account then I bought MX VS ATV REFLEX. I started downloading it took it 30 min to get to 1%. So II went to sleep for about four hours. got up then check my game then it was at 40%. Then I went back to sleep got up to check it.
My game was off so I thought the download was finish. I went to my games it wasn't there so, I went to active downloads and it wasn't there.
