  1. slow download speeds in ms store

    Hi

i've recently bought forza horizon 4 and after downloading it for about a day it started going a lot much slower (from 9mbps to 3)

I've already tried enabling the background download's speed limiter and i was going to try the MSRESET.EXE but a problem has come:

If i execute MSRESET.EXE will i have to restart the download from the beginning or from i am now?

    Thx for the assistance ^^

    :)

Xbox Game Pass for PC - Download speeds the worst I have experienced since dial up, Steam,Epic,Orgin all downloading fine.

I have done some checking today, downloading things from the Xbox App and MS Store on a network connection that has a maximum of 78MB/s:

MS Store: Download speeds, once they get going, maintain a speed of between 55 and 65MB/s. 80-90% of my maximum speed is acceptable

Xbox App: Download Speeds maintain a speed of between 5-8MB/s.

The XBox App I tried about an hour after trying on the MS Store today so no major difference. Given how buggy and poor the Xbox App is, am not surprised.

Of course, this doesn't help with your slow speeds via the MS Store!

    Hi fellow gamer,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. With wsreset I know that one keeps apps installed. With the game not complete it would most likely have to be reinstalled from the beginning again. Download speeds will go up and down from time to time.
If you are wireless these will fluctuate more than a wired connection.

    Thanks,

    Brad

Getting error code 0x80070422 while trying to install some games on PC (beta) App.

I am having the same problem, I have not been able to install any games for a month. It seems to be linked to when I start to have horribly slow download speeds from the Microsoft store. Everything else is downloading fast but from the MS store I am only
    getting maybe 5 M/s

    Store Download Speeds Slow

    Hi Lucas.

Thank you for your prompt response.

I followed your instructions and was getting pretty much the same download test results with each port I tried.

When I went back to check my download progress of my game and updates I saw that my usual speed had returned (around 95Mbps) instead of the dial up speeds I was getting when downloading.

Thank you so much for your help.

    Kind regards,

    Derrick
