Slow download speed on Xbox One

I'm not quite sure what's wrong with my Xbox One, but for the last month or so I haven't been able to play any games due to lag. I know it's not my internet because I've ran multiple tests on my PC to several different servers, each time topping off at a
suitable speed for gaming. Whenever I test the speed on my console I get slow download speeds though. I'm even able to use my Xbox 360 perfectly fine, so I have no idea what the problem is. I've tried factory resetting it, resetting the modem, turning it off
and turning it on again, and opening ports. I don't know what to do. Any insight would be appreciated.

A main factor in the speed along with slower internet speeds is the size of the update.

Can you provide your download and upload speed from your ISP? I do not understand ".026."

DSL Internet isn't the best so you shouldn't have high expectations. Though there is a new update currently in Preview that will speed up/prioritize download speeds.

Same here. Can run full speeds on PC but get maybe 1/4 of that on my Xbox One. Not understanding

 

1/4th would be a blessing. The network tests are averaging .06-1mbps download speed. Ping, packet loss, upload speed and wireless strength are perfectly normal though.

That was the first place I looked, it did nothing to help my problem. That is why I posted my question in the forums.

 

The Shady Goat, you mentioned your connection is currently wireless, have you had a chance to test a wired connection? We definitely wanna give that a try to see if that improves your network speeds on the console. If you're still getting these speeds after
connecting your console with a direct wired connection your next step would be to reach out to your ISP to inquire about anything on their end that may be affecting your console's connection.

Can you clarify what type of network hardware you're using?
